It's been a month since I got back from meeting with Disney executives to see our chandeliers in the Disney Corner Store, as part of their modern visual merchandising effort. It was a dream come true and a pinch me moment.
Seeing all the chandeliers in various nooks in their store and in front of Disney merchandise was amazing. I learned during their meeting that their order was also a vendor test for us. Luckily, we passed with flying colors and exceeded their expectations. Hearing that confirmed that the two most important pieces of our company: customer service and exceptional product were appreciated by one of the most important companies in the world.
This accolade comes from years of working on building our brand, curating a stellar customer service and working on our product to near perfection. This took a long time. More than the years we have been in business. But it shows how you can work, and work and work on something and then that big moment comes in a way you were not expecting.
We hope to partner with Disney in the near future, with more exciting acrylic projects as well as become a valuable vendor addition to the Disney family. So keep working on your dreams and remember this as one of my mentors described our effort: "This is a true story of a business owner walking through the head winds! Inspiring!"
